Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs panko preferred
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh basil optional, for garnish

Instructions
  

Prepare Chicken

  • Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare Breading

  • Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Beat eggs in a separate bowl.

Coat Chicken

  • Dip chicken in eggs, then press into breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.

Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Air Fry Chicken

  • Place chicken in air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly brush with olive oil. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.

Add Sauce & Cheese

  • Top chicken with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Cook an additional 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve

  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately with pasta or a side salad.

Notes

  • Use pounded thin chicken for even cooking
  • Swap mozzarella for provolone for a different flavor
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
  • Serve over spaghetti or zucchini noodles for a complete meal
