Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup cold milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1/2 cup yogurt optional
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • A few mint leaves optional
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions
  

Prepare the fruit

  • Cut avocado and pineapple into small pieces. Remove skin and seeds before blending.

Add to blender

  • Place avocado, pineapple, milk, yogurt and honey into the blender jar.

Add ice

  • Add ice cubes to make the smoothie cold and refreshing.

Blend well

  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy with no lumps.

Check texture

  • If thick, add a little milk. Blend again until smooth.

Taste test

  • Taste the smoothie. Add more honey if you want extra sweetness.

Final blend

  • Blend again for ten seconds for smooth texture.

Serve fresh

  • Pour into glasses. Serve cold and fresh.
