Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 egg

Instructions
  

Activate the yeast

  • In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Mix ingredients

  • Add flour, salt, melted butter and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough

  • Knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First rise

  • Place dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled.

Shape rolls

  • Punch down dough and divide into equal pieces. Shape into smooth balls.

Second rise

  • Place rolls on a tray. Cover and let them rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven

  • Set oven to 180°C while rolls are rising.

Bake rolls

  • Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown.

Brush with butter

  • Brush warm rolls with melted butter for extra flavor.
