Ingredients
  

  • 2 rib eye steaks
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes or chopped fresh chiles
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
  

Prepare the marinade

  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, chiles, vinegar, salt and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the steaks

  • Rub marinade all over steaks. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best flavor.

Preheat the grill

  • Heat grill or pan on high heat until very hot for a perfect sear.

Cook the steaks

  • Place steaks on grill. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
