Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 large egg

  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup crushed peppermint candy or candy canes

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Add flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Mix well until evenly combined.

Cream Butter and Sugar

  • Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until soft, light and fluffy.

Add Egg and Flavor

  • Add egg, vanilla and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Combine Dry and Wet

  • Slowly add dry mix into wet mixture. Stir gently until a thick dough forms.

Add Chocolate

  • Fold in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint gently into the dough.

Chill the Dough

  • Cover the bowl. Chill dough for 15 minutes for better shaping.

Preheat Oven

  • Heat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with parchment paper.
