Ingredients
  

  • 400 g beef strips sirloin or tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 250 g egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
  

Cook the noodles

  • Boil egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside for later use.

Cook the beef

  • Heat oil in a skillet. Add beef strips and cook quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.

Cook vegetables

  • In the same pan, add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook until soft and fragrant.

Add broth and seasoning

  • Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Stir well to combine flavors.

Simmer the sauce

  • Let the mixture simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add sour cream

  • Lower heat and stir in sour cream. Mix gently until smooth and creamy.

Return beef

  • Add cooked beef back into the skillet. Stir and heat gently.

Combine with noodles

  • Add cooked noodles to the sauce or serve sauce over noodles.

Garnish and serve

  • Top with fresh parsley and serve warm for best taste.
