Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions
  

.Preheat oven

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix dry ingredients

  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt and garlic powder in a large bowl.

Cut in butter

  • Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.

Add cheese

  • Stir shredded cheddar into the flour mixture.

Add buttermilk

  • Pour in buttermilk and mix gently until dough forms.

Shape biscuits

  • Roll dough lightly and cut biscuits using a biscuit cutter.

Bake biscuits

  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden.

Brush and serve

  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle parsley before serving warm.
