Ingredients
  

For the Cake

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Cinnamon Swirl

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

For the Crumb Topping

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking pan.

Make Crumb Topping

  • Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and melted butter until crumbly.

Prepare Cake Batter

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs

  • Mix eggs one at a time into the batter.

Add Sour Cream

  • Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract.

Add Dry Ingredients

  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Combine Batter

  • Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently.

Prepare Cinnamon Swirl

  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Layer Batter

  • Pour half batter into pan and sprinkle cinnamon mixture.

Add Remaining Batter

  • Add remaining batter evenly on top.

Add Crumb Topping

  • Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over cake.

Bake

  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and set.

Cool

  • Let cake cool before slicing and serving.
