Ingredients
  

  • 1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese optional
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions
  

Preheat oven

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet.

Slice bread

Spread mixture

  • Broil for 1–2 minutes for a crunchy top.
