Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil for pan-frying, optional
  • Marinara sauce optional, for serving

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven or Skillet

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or prepare skillet over medium heat.

Mix Meatball Ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until combined.

Form Meatballs

  • Roll mixture into 1–2 inch balls and place on a baking sheet or plate.

Cook Meatballs

  • Oven method: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Skillet method: Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook meatballs, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and cooked through.

Serve

  • Serve meatballs hot with marinara sauce over pasta, in a sub sandwich, or as an appetizer.

Notes

  • Add finely chopped onions or bell peppers to the mixture for extra flavor
  • Use half veal or turkey for a lighter version
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
  • Sprinkle additional Parmesan on top before baking
  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad
  • Freeze uncooked meatballs for up to 2 months
