Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan.

Cook Bacon

  • Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Drain and crumble.

Mix Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Shape the Loaf

  • Transfer mixture to loaf pan. Shape evenly.

Prepare Glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar and mustard.

Add Glaze

  • Spread glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake

  • Bake for about 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Rest

  • Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Slice and Serve

  • Cut into thick slices and serve warm.
