Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
  • 1 round brie cheese 8 oz
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 egg for egg wash
  • Optional: jam or fruit preserves for serving

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Puff Pastry

  • Roll out puff pastry slightly on a lightly floured surface.

Place Brie

  • Place the round brie in the center of the pastry.

Add Toppings

  • Drizzle honey over brie and sprinkle chopped nuts evenly.

Fold Pastry

  • Fold pastry edges over the brie, covering it completely. Pinch edges to seal.

Prepare Egg Wash

  • In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush over the pastry for a golden finish.

Bake

  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 18–20 minutes until pastry is golden brown.

Cool Slightly

  • Let the baked brie cool for 5 minutes before serving.
