Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.

Cook Broccoli

  • Steam or boil broccoli florets for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain well and set aside.

Prepare Cheese Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, garlic, salt and pepper until smooth.

Combine Broccoli and Sauce

  • Add cooked broccoli to the cheese mixture. Stir gently until all florets are coated evenly.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Pour broccoli and cheese mixture into prepared baking dish. Spread evenly for uniform baking.

Prepare Topping

  • In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over broccoli mixture.

Bake the Dish

  • Bake in preheated oven for 25–30 minutes until top is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

Serve Warm

  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm as a side dish with your favorite main course.

  • Use fresh or frozen broccoli depending on availability
