Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions
  

Prepare Bread

  • Cut French bread into 1-inch cubes and place in a greased baking dish.

Make Custard

Soak Bread

  • Pour custard over bread cubes, pressing gently to soak evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Topping

  • Mix brown sugar and melted butter together, then sprinkle over soaked bread.
