Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed (about 1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Instructions
  

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan.

Crush Crackers

  • Crush Ritz crackers into fine crumbs using your hands or a rolling pin.

Mix Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crushed crackers, milk, eggs, onion, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

Combine Gently

  • Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Shape the Loaf

  • Transfer mixture into the loaf pan. Shape evenly.

Prepare Glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar and mustard.

Add Glaze

  • Spread glaze evenly over the top.

Bake

  • Bake for 55–60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Rest

  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve

  • Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use 80/20 ground beef for best flavor.
  • Add shredded cheddar for a cheesy version.
  • Mix half ground beef and half ground pork for richer taste.
  • Add chopped bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • Bake on a sheet pan instead of a loaf pan for crisp edges.
