Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cottage cheese small curd works best
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni or cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
  

Preheat the Oven

  • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish lightly with cooking spray or butter.

Mix Cottage Cheese Base

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, flour, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

Spread Base in Dish

  • Pour the cottage cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the bottom.

Add Pizza Sauce

  • Pour pizza sauce over the cottage cheese layer. Spread it gently so the layer is even but not too thick.

Layer Cheese and Toppings

  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Add pepperoni, bell peppers, and black olives on top.

Optional Parmesan

  • If using Parmesan, sprinkle it lightly over the top. This adds extra flavor and a crispy texture.

Bake in Oven

  • Place the baking dish in the oven. Bake for 25 minutes or until cheese melts and edges turn golden brown.

Check Doneness

  • Insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, the bake is ready. If not, bake for 2–3 more minutes.

Cool Slightly

  • Remove from oven. Let it cool for 5 minutes. This helps the bake set and makes slicing easier.
