Ingredients
  

  • 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose black tea
  • 1 1/2 cups milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 –2 teaspoons rose syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 –2 teaspoons sugar or honey optional
  • Dried rose petals for garnish optional

Instructions
  

Brew the Tea

  • Boil 1/2 cup water. Steep tea bags or loose tea for 3–5 minutes until strong.

Warm the Milk

  • In a small saucepan, heat milk over medium heat. Do not boil; warm gently.

Add Cardamom

  • Whisk cardamom powder into the milk. Heat for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

Sweeten the Milk

  • Add rose syrup and sugar or honey. Stir well to combine flavors.

Combine Tea and Milk

  • Pour brewed tea into mugs. Slowly add warm rose-cardamom milk.

Froth for Creaminess

  • Use a whisk or milk frother to create a light foam on top.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle dried rose petals or a pinch of cardamom powder on top. Serve immediately.
